And it's silicone for a reason. On the G90, space is the enemy:

• Rigid pipes need the bay to conform to them. Silicone conforms to the bay
• Multi-angle hoses route around the hybrid hardware, the cooling lines and the chassis — following the tight geometry a hard pipe can't
• Silicone doesn't fatigue under heat and vibration the way rubber does — it keeps its shape, its seal, and its flexibility

The result is an intake that fits the M5's reality, not a brochure drawing.

Filters That Actually Flow

Each side of the system ends in a high-flow conical filter — pleated filtration media wrapped around a metal end cap, clamped securely to the hose.

The pleats multiply the filter's surface area, which means:

• More air reaches the turbos — less restriction on the way in
• Better filtration with less pressure drop — protection without choking flow
• Consistent performance — the media holds up through heat cycles and heavy use

Combined with the smooth inner bore of the silicone hose, the charge path stays clean from the filter to the turbo inlet.
